MITEC engine.tec is one of the worldwide leaders and most modern enterprises for the production of balancer systems.
Balancer systems are part of the so-called active devices used to prevent noise and vibrations caused by the vehicle engine. In connection with this, the physical inertia torque and forces caused by the combustion engine are eliminated by same sized opposite forces and torque. The result is that vibrations and noise arousal are not transferred to the chassis of the vehicle from the very beginning on. This effect is achieved by using a gear acuated device, rotating with twice the crankshaft speed, which sets the highest precision requirements in their manufacture and accuracy of the gear. It is impossible to imagine the development of the modern engine without the balancer system. They are a standard module of the engine which will be integrated with other modules in the future. This applies for inline 4 & 5 Cylinder and V6 Engines and is independent from the type of combustion. Both gasoline and diesel engines are affected.
Together with MITEC engine.tec gmbh (a 100% subsidiary of Mitec Automotive AG), the MITEC group is the world market leader in the field of balancer systems. Nearly every well-known automobile manufacturer is a customer, such as Ford Motor Company, General Motors, BMW, DaimlerChyrsler, Volkswagen, Mazda, Skoda and others. 95 Percent of the products are exported to every continent. Through consequent use of the most modern manufacturing technology and innovative approaches to increase quality, it is possible to fulfill the highest standard demands of our customers.
Construction of MITEC engine.tec gmbh began on on the “green pasture” March 15, 2001. Just 6 months later the first production inspection by a well-known automobile manufacturer took place successfully. A total of 13,000 square meters of production area and 459 square meters of office space were created; 50 million Euro were invested in building, machines and installations.
Innovative methods of production technology and quality philosophy were conceived and consequently set in action with the creation of MITEC engine.tec. A general “one-piece-flow” with 100 percent part tracing and transparent and flexible processes were created. This sets new standard in gear production.

Here we like to reference our Quality-Data-Management-System. This is a pilot project, i.e. it’s used the first time and exists since 2002. It picks up, analyses and archives all machine-, instrument- and quality data as well as operating signals and notices of malfunction. It permits traceability of each single part and provides monitoring of machine conditions.
